I would never be allowed to spend a dime there on “stupid” stuff, let alone buy me anything. She couldn’t get me the Christmas gift I asked for without insulting it every week since because it was the only thing I mentioned.

:( (so sorry she feels that way!) My guy has a thing for well-crafted blades. He has made 2 Mek’leths and is considering making a Bat’leth. Over the course of seven years, he’s purchased and made so many things for me, I’ll spend a lifetime making up for it. I can’t fathom why some people think it’s “stupid”. We only have this one little life to live…why not enjoy it to the fullest? Including the purchasing/making of “stupid” things :D
