I was never a big Dawkins fan to begin with. His response makes me like him even less.
I’m not a bad looking woman - I’ve been hit on more times than I care to remember. But I’ll tell you one thing, I walk into a male-dominated room like I *own* the place and I dare one single man to proposition me based simply on my looks or to treat me like I’m simply eye candy.

Again, wasn’t there an article saying that what dawkins said was fake? that it was a fake account?
Nope. PZ Myers confirmed them to be real.
But the thing is… I don’t see any proof. Any e-mail, anything other than the link on “richard dawkins’” name rerouting to his site. That’s not proof of anything. I’m going to send an e-mail to the Richard Dawkins foundation.
If it turns out to be a fake, I’ll definitely eat my words with regard to Mr. Dawkins (though, I still won’t like him much). But my feelings with regard to misogyny will remain :)
