I’d take mac&cheese for Thanksgiving any day and I have 32 years more than your daughter… ;-)
LOL It very well could be the only thing she eats so I need to be prepared :D

othersideoffifty.com/20… mac & cheese is good, especially if it is a baked real cheese meal… not easy-mac….
I just might do a small baked mac & cheese, just for her. I’ll have to run it past her :)

what will she eat? is there any additional things to the holiday meal you can introduce to help? I will likely be painting two rooms, hopefully without incident….
She likes noodles…and shrimp…and mac and cheese. It’s difficult to come up with things for her to eat as she’s also not big on trying new foods. Sigh. I’m sure I can load her up before the actual meal so it won’t be so bad.
doh… I should have waited for someone who likes to sleep! doh….
Me and you, baby. Sleep is my second favorite thing in the world :D

My 2nd wife’s son we put a rubber band on his wrist at the suggestion of a teacher, he could play with it without being too distracted from his work. He had ADHD, but not bad enough to need medicine, just a rubber band. :)
My son has been pretty good at tackling these issues using his mental and verbal skills. The issue he has at the moment is…well, let’s say the class is reading. He’ll be reading along with the rest. When that time is up, they are to move on to homework. He is too fixated on reading to move on. So, he and I need to come up with a strategy to get him used to knowing when he’s fixiating and how to stop. He and I are pretty good at strategy :D

I do most of the shopping too, it’s actually easier… she came saturday to the grocery store and was so livid from their bad sacking job that she yelled at me for not getting angry. I normally just re-sack and get yelled at for taking too long.
We trade off. I usually try to do it most often as I’m awake during the morning hours while he’s sleeping. But a lot of the time he’ll shop after work…the wee hours of the day when most people are sleeping. Going together usually proves to be rather disastrous. We end up talking and laughing about stuff and forget half of what we went for in the first place.
I understand the bad sacking stuff. One grocery store here is just terrible at bagging groceries. They’ll put one or two things in a bag and call it good. Drives me nuts!

I’ve got some habanero… it’ll clean them out well… ;-)
I’ve got something around here that should help. Just have to find it :D

reminds me of when I was the death-dealer in college. Back when I was a weight lifter and actually had the build to fill out the costume.
It was a fun costume. My guy was the Big Bad Wolf :D
poetdreamer replied to your post: poetdreamer answered your question: Haiku Or…
I spend more time teaching haiku, than seeing it applied. :)
I try to keep in mind that it should be nature or season related. Quite often I bypass the pause or “cutting” word. Most of what I write is senryu. But it’s all stabs in the dark, really. Creative writing isn’t my forte. I’m better at writing articles and nonfiction.
I’ve been following you for a while. The clincher was the Warf post today :) I will *always* follow you now!
poetdreamer answered your question: Haiku Or Not?
someone who knows the difference?? that alone deserves a follow. :)
Oh, wow. Thank you :) Nice to have a new follower!
