The weeks leading up to May 21st were full of people leaving their jobs and homes while donating massive amounts of money to the “Rapture” campaign. The day came and went without so much as a whimper much less a massive culling of the uber religious.

So, here we are again (because Mr. Camping revised his previous prediction so as not to completely lose all of his followers) with what I’m assuming is “Rapture - Part Deux”. 

I’m pretty certain some of my neighbors are devout Christians and they’re still getting in their cars, driving their kids to school, and battling traffic to get to their jobs. The grass is still growing; the rain is still falling.

I figure a big indicator something weird is about to happen are my dogs. They start barking if a squirrel just happens to step foot somewhere on our back lawn - even without seeing it. Not a peep from my canines.

As an atheist, this should totally be a non-event for me. Still…I can’t help but poke fun and snicker at the idiocy of it all.
